We’re taking this week off from regular posting because there is a lot of stuff going on:
David is neck-deep this week in the annual math camp for middle schoolers that he helps lead.1
Robert and his wife celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on July 1.
The Independence Day holiday in the US is July 4.
We’ll return on July 7 with Robert’s post-mortem of how specs grading worked in his 6-week asynchronous online class.
Speaking of posts: Could we interest you in writing a guest post for us? We are always on the lookout for insightful takes, novel viewpoints, lived experiences, success stories, failure narratives, and more from those of you who are out there making alternative grading a reality. Just click this link to fill out a short form with your idea and contact information:
We’re committed to running at least two guest posts per month for as long as there are things to share. We also welcome repeat authors, so if you’ve written one for us before but have an update or something new to share, we’d still love to hear from you.
Enjoy your week! We’ll see you next Monday.
Eyelid-deep might be more accurate.
