Happy Memorial Day
Today is Memorial Day here in the US. We will be taking today (the whole week, in fact) off from our usual Monday posts. We hope that you all do the same! Take a break, sleep in, get outside, grill some meat and enjoy a fine West Michigan craft beer… whatever it is that helps you relax and enjoy life.
But stay tuned for upcoming posts, which will feature:
Guest posts from Katie Mattani and Drew Lewis,
A new multi-part series on how to design a course for alternative grading,
More!
As a heads-up, we’ll be dialing back the post frequency here at the blog for the duration of the summer to just 2-3 times a month instead of every Monday. This is partially because we like taking breaks (perhaps a little too much?), partially because of summer holidays that happen to fall on Monday this year, and partially because we’re in the home stretch for preparing the manuscript for the Grading For Growth book. The latter is due in August, and we’re entering serious heads-down mode for getting it all done.
So enjoy a well-deserved break this week and we’ll see you again soon.
(One more option: If you’d like an intensive learning experience on alternative grading, register for The Grading Conference. We’ll be running it via Zoom at the end of this week: Friday and Saturday, June 3 and 4.)
